Mission Statement

Every child needs a strong support system in order to be successful. Zion Child Development Center, located in Charleston, WV, strives to build strong relationships between parents, students, caregivers and the community.  We provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate program that focuses on the whole child.  Our educational experiences promote social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.  Zion’s philosophy is to “Begin with the End in Mind”. We strive to view every child as their own person; supporting their individual needs and giving them every chance to become a future vital member of society.

We are a Tier II facility

What does this mean to you? It means that our staff and facility pass rigorous inspections and review above and beyond the basic requirements of the state. It means our staff are highly trained in state approved curriculum. You can trust that your child is being cared for by individuals who want your child to succeed and have the knowledge and ability to help them meet their goals.

Please call the Center for specific dates and times. We look forward to seeing you there!
